I also have to lift my legs to use it (I'm 1.88m for reference, the bar is 2m off the floor) but they do offer an extender accessory to make it taller. The bar itself is also pretty thick which is great for grip, less good for reps. However, because the frame is made of interlocking parts, it does have some noticeable give when you're doing pull ups, enough that I find it can affect my performance because you're losing energy to the movement of the stand. I've never pulled it over or felt like it was going to fall doing them. TL:DR: I quite like it, I'd probably buy it again in the same situation but it's not without its downsides and I probably wouldn't choose it again if I had other solid options.ĭoing pull ups the base doesn't rock, it stays nicely planted and feels pretty safe.
